Here is a movie that has been kept hidden from you by the big box food industry.
Here is a 30-year campaign which has been run by the food industry and also supported by the United States government. The sole purpose of this campaign has had been to confuse and misinform the American public. All this led to one of the biggest health epidemics we have seen in the human history. There is growing number of health problems and we see more fatal diseases even now in this age – all due to our eating habits. But this video will help in changing how you eat. Make sure to share it with everyone you know.
According to Dr. Robert Lustig (Professor of Pediatrics with the University of California), there are 600,000 food items in the United States and 80% of them contain added sugar. Our brain becomes addict to sugar in a similar way it does to cocaine.
According to Dr. David Kessler (former FDA commissioner), this is one of the biggest public health epidemics of our time and we don’t even know it. The current generation of American kids is the first generation that is going to live shorter than their parents. This is not about blaming someone’s will power. 95% of Americans are going to be obese or overweight in the next 20 years.
At the heart of this epidemic is the sugar industry.
The sugar industry is too powerful and is running different businesses focused solely on making money (not to make us healthy).
Then there is our government and it is doing nothing else by subsidizing this obesity epidemic. By 2050, a third of the Americans will be having diabetes. And many of the diseases are being driven by nothing else but sugar.
Unfortunately, this is a basic problem that no one is addressing in our society. Today, junk food companies are acting the same way the tobacco companies did around three decades ago. They are simply lying about the harmful effects of their products.
If a foreign country was doing this to our children, we would have stopped them in their heels. It can be prevented and we have to start right now to change our diet.
