Today we are presenting you a detox plan that can be done over the weekend and it has many health benefits. This cleanses flushes the toxins out of your liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph and intestines. It includes many fluids, meet, potatoes and many low-fat foods. You can do the cleanse two times a year for 10 days or several times in the year but only for 2 days (weekend cleanse).

For best results drink a lot of liquids, teas like birch, nettle, and dandelion will only invigorate the effect, also make sure you exercise regularly if you a can’t visit the gym, walking, running or swimming will do the trick.

The cleanse:

It is important to drink a lukewarm water every day of the cleanse as soon as you wake up.

Saturday

Breakfast:

  • lukewarm water
  • 1 cup of oat flakes
  • 1 spoonful of linseed
  • 250 ml greek yogurt or green tea
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 200 ml diet yogurt or almond milk

Lunch:

  • 250 ml water
  • 2 cups of salad (tomato, green, arugula)
  • 250 g grill hake
  • Swiss chard and olive oil + potato
  • small banana
  • melon slice

Snack:

  • 250 ml water and apple
  • 180 ml yogurt
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds

Dinner:

  • 250 ml water or anise tea
  • 2 cups of salad (lemon juice and olive oil too)
  • integral pastry
  • 150 g grill tuna
  • ½ cup steamed veggies (spinach and broccoli)

Sunday

Breakfast:

  • lukewarm water
  • 1 cup oat flakes
  • 1 spoonful linseed
  • 200 ml almond milk or diet yogurt
  • pear and green tea

Snack:

  • grapefruit

Lunch:

  • 250 ml water
  • veggie soup (pepper, beans, potato, carrot, onion, celery)
  • 200g grill chicken
  • 150 g pickles

Dinner:

  • integral pastry
  • nettle tea
  • beet and carrots with lemon juice
