Insufficient water consumption: it is important to have 6-8 glasses of water every day. A lot of problems are caused if the body is not hydrated properly. If the intake of coffee and alcohol is more, the water quantity should be increased further. Bloating is caused as the body uses the fluids present in the body in case of insufficient water. This causes water retention.
Constipation: include lots of fiber in your diet. When this does not happen, the gases start getting trapped behind your feces leading to constipation. Have a lot of whole grains as well. Smoothies and berries are very important too. Start slowly and increase the quantity gradually.
Stress: stress prevents the digestive system from working appropriately. Constipation and stomach ache further add to the problem. Reduce your stress levels.
Eating very fast: eat small bites and eat slowly. If you eat too fast, the body has too much to process at the same time, leading to bloating.
Carbohydrates: eating food rich in carbohydrates can also cause bloating. Avoid eating too much of carbohydrates. Reduce the amount of sugar and alcohol as well. Eat more of fruits and vegetables.
