Having a flat belly is desirable to most people. It makes you look smart, fit and healthy.  You are also more attractive to the opposite sex when you have a flat stomach.

However, to have a flat belly is more difficult than you think, it requires discipline on your part to avoid those foods that can give your an expanded waistline.

Here are those foods you should avoid:

  1. Dairy Foods

Stay clear of milk if you want to have a flat stomach. You should take yogurt instead of milk as milk causes bloating and gas.

  1. Stop Taking Refined And Processed Food

If you want to avoid a bug belly then you should avoid processed and refined food. You should also consume less caffeine and alcohol.

Processed food will lead to an accumulation of fat in the belly so stay clear of it.

  1. Let Your Salt Intake Be Reduced

Too much salt leads to water retention which will lead to an expansion of your waistline eventually. So avoid putting too much salt in your meals.

  1. Get Rid Of Hot Spices

When you eat hot and spicy food, your stomach releases more secretion which can lead to digestive issues leading to a buildup of fat in the stomach area.

  1. Reduce Your Carbohydrate Intake

It is known that carbohydrates inhibit the stomach fat burning process. So the more carbs you consume the more likely your belly fat remains despite a concerted effort to reduce it. Eat foods that are rich in protein and stay clear of bread, pasta and sweet food.

You Should Eat More Fruits

Fruits are great for your overall health but you should know that pears and apples contain fructose which slow down the body’s metabolism and increases its risk of fat accumulation in the belly area. You should eat citrus fruits more as they help to burn belly fat.
