Psoriasis is one of the most common dermatoses, which is characterized by erythema, papulosquamous changes with characteristic localization, but sometimes it covers the skin, and some of the patients can develop artropati.
There are many hypotheses when it comes to occurrence of this disease – viral, immune, metabolic, neurological, genetic and others.
Factors that can contribute to the occurrence of this disease are:
– Physical factors – injuries, radiation etc
– Medicament-related – tetracycline, lithium preparations, antimalarials and other
– Infections – usually viral
– Stress situations
Natural ointment against psoriasis
– St. John’s wort flowers
– Calendula flowers
– Handful of yarrow
– Olive oil
– 10 grams of juniper oil
– 5 grams of lavender oil
Method of preparation:
Take a liter bottle with wide opening and fill it with St. John’s wort flowers. Also, add finely chopped calendula flowers and a handful of yarrow.
Then add the olive oil. Tightly close the bottle and leave it on the sun to stay for three weeks.
Once the oil gets red it needs to be strained through gauze.
After that you need to add both the juniper and lavender oils. Remember to mix everything well.
Way of use:
Apply the resulting oil onto the affected area(s) once or twice a day.
This oil can also be used against other skin diseases such as lichen, eczema, dry skin, scabs, burns etc.
The wounds should be washed with chamomile tea.
Diet is very important if you suffer from psoriasis. This is why you should not consume potatoes, white beans, oatmeal, sugar, pasta, pork fat, bananas, pears, alcohol, coffee and you also must not smoke.
