Long time spent watching TV or in front of the computer is the commonest reason for dry eye occurrence.
In order to improve this health state, Russian medicine recommends the following recipes:
1. Green tea coatings
Once you are done preparing green tea, gently squeeze the used bags and place them onto the eye lids.
Take off the coatings after half an hour and practice the following eye exercise:
Move your pupils left to right, and vice versa, 10 times. After that, blink several times before you move your pupils up and down, 10 times also. Blink again and move your pupils clockwise (4 times) and counterclockwise (4 times).
Rinse your eyes with chamomile or rosemary, prepared in the following way:
Take 3 tablespoons of dried and crushed chamomile or rosemary and pour 1 cup of boiled water over it. Let the mixture stand still for an hour. Rinse the resulting mixture and rinse your eyes with it.
2. Recipe for improvement of sight, eyes’ overall health and against cataracts:
Mix natural (organic) honey with distillated water in ratio 1:3. Strain the mixture through gauze and drop one drop of it in each eye, in the morning and in the evening. Practice this method throughout the year, non-stop. Keep this remedy in the refrigerator.
In order to reduce this problem, apply the following rules:
– Place humidifier for rooms in your work place.
– Add ingredients rich in vitamin A in your every day diet, such as carrot, flaxseed oil, melon, sea fish.
– Blink more frequently. This way you will not only wet the eye but you will also maintain eye muscles’ tonus.
