If you buy fruits often you may have seen stickers on them but never did you once wonder what they were.
Where the code on these stickers begin with a number 3 or 4 and there are 4 numbers in the code it means that the fruit was grown in the second half of the 20th century and most likely subjected to artificial fertilizers.
On the other hand if the code comprises of 5 numbers and these numbers begin with the number 9, it simply means that the product was grown using traditional means and so these products are organic and were not exposed to artificial fertilizers and pesticides.
Whereas if the code has f 5 numbers and begins with number 8 then it means that the product is genetically modified and otherwise called GMO.
So just don’t buy your fruits and other products without understanding just what the numbers on the stickers mean, now you are informed and you should also educate others.
