You can quite easily be overworked these days because of pressure at work and at home.

However, not too many of us know those tell-tale signs that indicate that you are overworked and need to take it easy.

Here are 9 signs you should take note of

  1. Sudden Change In Your Weight

When you have sudden rise or drop in your weight it means your metabolism is either over-active or slow in performance, this could be caused by excessive stress that arises from you being overworked, you need to take it easy and get more rest.

  1. Excessive Hair Loss

While it is normal for you to lose hair on a daily basis and it is estimated that on an average you lose a hundred strands of hair every day, it is however not normal for you to lose excessive amounts of hair which is what happens when you are stressed from being overworked.

  1. Having Mood Swings

The more you get overworked, the more stressed you become and this will affect your mood. With increased anxiety and depression, you are likely to lash out at people at the slightest provocation and be generally irritated by people and your surroundings.

  1. Sleeping Problems

Being overworked and the resulting high levels of stress that arise from it can cause you to have difficulty getting some decent amount of sleep daily. If you experience this problem it is best you look for ways to get your stress eased. Regular exercises can help also engaging in yoga and meditation will also do some good.

Thinking too much about life at home and at work will raise your stress levels and this can affect your physical and mental health. It is responsible for increased anxiety and depression.

When you are overworked and your stress levels are high you stand the risk of having body pain more often than you can imagine. The pains are usually located in your back, neck, and shoulders.

  1. Poor Libido

Stress can also cause you to have poor libido. This can be frustrating for couples and can greatly affect their relationship. If you experience any poor libido you can try out yoga and meditation as a way of improving your sex drive.

  1. Being Intolerable

When your stress levels are quite high you tend to become easily irritated as your anxiety increases. It is not uncommon for overworked people to be aggressive in their actions and this can cause you to lose a few friends.
