Unlike in the past, hardly anyone produces his own food, and therefore buying in the supermarkets is unavoidable.
But, is the food from the shelf always fresh?
We present you homemade test by which you can identify if the eggs you have purchased are fresh.
All you need is a deep glass bowl, water and few seconds of time.
First, pour the water in the bowl. Carefully put the egg in the bowl with water and see what is happening.
– If it is fresh, the egg will completely sink down and fall on the bottom of the bowl.
– Little older egg will be on the bottom wilt one side of it, and with the other site it is up towards the surface.
– Very old eggs will flow on the water surface.
Old eggs are not recommended to be consumed.
There is yet another way to identify if the egg is fresh, and that is as follows: take egg in your hand and hold it against your ear. Shake it easily and listen to the sound that comes from the inside of the egg.
If you do not listen to any sounds, the egg is fresh, but if you listen to gurgling, that means that it is old and you do not have to consume it.
