Fiber Rich Food
You can get fiber in several foods such as nuts, grains and beans. These are all good sources of fiber however if you want a great source of fiber then you should try flaxseeds.
The flax plant produces these tiny seeds and they are high in both soluble and insoluble fiber.
These two types of fibers help our digestive system tremendously. Soluble fibers help digestion by absorbing water and transforming it into a substance similar to gel and it helps to slow down the digestive process so that your body can absorb the nutrients in the food you eat which ultimately results in smaller stool. It is also known to reduce any risk of heart disease.
Insoluble fiber on the other hand bulks up our stool, thereby making it denser and heavier. In so doing it allows the stool to travel through the digestive tract and reduce any chance of a blockage.
