Arsenic is a highly dangerous compound that can cause cancer if consumed in high amounts. FDA has now revealed what most industry watchers have seen believed, they have stated that chicken meat may contain this compound because of the arsenic rich chicken feed used by poultry farmers. For quite a long time critics of this form of chicken feed had expressed their concerns, but we’re told by leading scientists backed by the manufacturers of these feeds, that the arsenic is excreted by the chickens and present in their feces.
This is what has been claimed for decades now, but officially the FDA has proven this belief to be false and they have in fact stated that the arsenic rich chicken feeds, leave traces of arsenic in the meat of the bird. Some chicken feed manufacturers like Pfizer have taken their brand of chicken feed off the shelves of major stores in the United States, one such product is Roxarsone. While this product is actually produced by a subsidiary of Pfizer known as Alpharma LLC, the parent company can still be held liable for its actions. Pfizer is no stranger to controversy, as it was known to have produced children vaccination that was laced with some chemical adjuvants capable of causing far reaching severe health problems to those that the vaccine was administered to.
Arsenic is a carcinogenic compound that is capable of raising the acidity levels of the human body and allowing dormant cancerous cells and tumors to thrive. When you consume chicken meat that has arsenic in it on a regular basis, you put your life in serious danger, as the cancerous cells will spread much more rapidly. It is believed that the high rate of colon cancer in the United States can be directly linked to people consuming arsenic rich chicken meat in large quantities, usually as part of their daily dietary regimen. With this recent announcements by the FDA, it is believed that more attention would be placed on animal feeds, as there could be more far reaching consequence to the health of people, if such steps are not taken by the regulatory authority.
